She studied Philosophy and Literature at the Ruhr Universität in Bochum, in Germany. From 1992-1998 she was in the team of the Documentary Film Festival in Duisburg and the International Short Film Festival in Oberhausen. From 1999 to 2014 she made many projects, films and installations together with Harun Farocki. She has worked in curatorial proyects such asLabour in a Single Shot, Venice Biennale (Venice, 2015);Haus der Kulturen der Welt,(Berlin, 2015), MUAC (Mexico City, 2014), Tel Aviv Museum for Contemporary Art (Tel Aviv, 2013), Lumiar Cité (Lisbon, 2013), Max Mueller Institute (Bangalore, 2013), Muzeum Sztuki (Lodz);Between Eye and Hand. She has published Web CatalogueLabour in a Single Shot; Serious Games. War – Media – Art(co-editor), (Ostfildern, 2011);Harun Farocki. Against What? Against Whom?(co-editor), (Köln, 2009);Cinema like never before(co-editor), (Cologne, 2006);Geschichte des Dokumentarischen Films in Deutschland,Vol. 2, Weimarer Republik (co-editor), (Stuttgart, 2005).


Studirala je filozofiju i književnost na Ruhr Universität u Bochumu u Njemačkoj. Od 1992. do 1998. bila je u timu Festivala dokumentarnog filma u Duisburgu i Međunarodnog festivala kratkog filma u Oberhausenu. Od 1999. do 2014. snimila je mnogo projekata, filmova i instalacija zajedno s Harunom Farockijem. Radila je u kustoskim projektima, poput rada u pojedinačnom kadru, Venecijanskog bijenala (Venecija, 2015.); Haus der Kulturen der Welt, (Berlin, 2015.), MUAC (Mexico City, 2014.), Muzeja suvremene umjetnosti u Tel Avivu (Tel Aviv) , 2013), Lumiar Cité (Lisabon, 2013.), Institut Maxa Muellera (Bangalore, 2013.), Muzeum Sztuki (Lodz); Između očiju i ruku. Objavila je Web CatalogueLabour u jednom kadru; Ozbiljne igre. Rat – mediji – umjetnost (ko-urednik), (Ostfildern, 2011); Harun Farocki. Protiv čega? Protiv koga? Petra Meterc is a freelance journalist and film critic, based in Slovenia. She has been writing and reporting on film and literature for one of the oldest independent non-commercial urban radio stations in Europe, Radio Študent, where she is also the editor of a biweekly radio drama program. She publishes in “Ekran” Magazine for Film and Television and “KINO!” magazine, as well as other media outlets, mostly focusing on independent cinema, and has contributed to several film festival dailies. She has also worked as a film education mentor and as a mentor of film criticism workshops. She is a Berlinale Talent Press and IFFR Trainee Project for Young Film Critics alumna.


Petra Meterc je slobodna novinarka i filmska kritičarka, sa sjedištem u Sloveniji. Pisala je i izvještavala o filmu i literaturi za jednu od najstarijih neovisnih urbanih radio postaja u Europi, Radio Študent, gdje je i urednica dvotjednog radio-dramskog programa. Objavljuje u časopisu “Ekran” za film i televiziju i “KINO!” časopis, kao i druge medijske kuće, uglavnom usredotočene na neovisna kina, i pridonio je nekoliko dnevnih dnevnih filmova. Također je radila kao mentor filmskog obrazovanja i kao mentorica radionicama filmske kritike. Ona je Berlinale Talent Press i IFFR projekt pripravnika za mlade filmske kritičare.


Born in 1982 in Athens, young director Yorgos Zois is best known for his highly acclaimed 2015 film Interruption, which premiered at the 72nd International Venice Film Festival. In Zois’ native Greece, the film received nine nominations from the Greek Film Academy and won the Best Newcomer Director award. Prior to this, Zois had made several short films, including his 2010 debut Casus Belli and Out of Frame two years later. Both films were screened at major film festivals around the world, and the latter earned Zois a nomination for Best European Film Director from the European Film Academy. Yorgos Zois is also an established commercial director, having directed TV adverts for Pfizer, the Greek National Theatre, the Acropolis Museum and Aegean Airlines.


Rođen 1982. u Ateni, mladi redatelj Yorgos Zois najpoznatiji je po vrlo cijenjenom filmu „Prekid“ iz 2015. koji je premijerno prikazan na 72. Međunarodnom filmskom festivalu u Veneciji. U Zoisovoj rodnoj Grčkoj film je dobio devet nominacija Grčke filmske akademije i osvojio nagradu za najboljeg novog redatelja. Prije toga, Zois je snimio nekoliko kratkih filmova, uključujući svoj debi Casus Belli iz 2010. godine i Out of Frame dvije godine kasnije. Oba filma prikazana su na velikim filmskim festivalima širom svijeta, a potonji je Zois zaradio nominaciju za najboljeg europskog filmskog redatelja s Europske filmske akademije. Yorgos Zois također je etablirani komercijalni direktor, režirajući TV reklame za Pfizer, Grčko nacionalno kazalište, Muzej Akropolja i Aegean Airlines.

A cultural event that combines museum gallery spaces and film in one place. This project seeks to raise awareness of the diversity of the island of Lošinj, its historical heritage, culture and bring it all together on film. This way we count over 70 international films, with over 45 hours of film at 3 locations on the island of Lošinj, the Fritzy Palace Museum, the Apoxyomenos Museum and the Veli Lošinj Cinema Hall. for the realization of this project we have over 12 volunteers from Croatia who will always be available to viewers and available to all interested producers and representatives of the film, and will do their best to make you feel like a giant on the red carpet. so don't forget the date. get informed and be part of the apox film festival.
